Okay so the icing isn’t totally sugar free – it has honey (or maple syrup) but hey, that’s way better than icing sugar or white sugar. I honestly can’t remember the source of this recipe and I feel terribly for that but it’s so basic let’s just say it’s everyone’s recipe! I’ve served this as pudding, as filling inside crepes, as a nutella substitute, cake/cupcake icing, or filling for cookie sandwiches. Who cares how you use it, just make it and eat it! It’s a vegan and white sugar free icing after all!
Ingredients
1 ripe avocado, remove pit and skin (the avocado must be very soft)
1/2 cup raw cocoa powder
1/2 cup honey (or maple syrup to make vegan)
Directions
Add all ingredients to a food processor and blend until all the avocado chunks disappear and the icing looks like this – creamy awesomeness!
